Koleli GF Bakes was born from grief, healing, heritage, and a mother's determination.

After the heartbreaking loss of my infant twins Amara and Zara in 2021, baking became the place where my mind could settle. 6 months later to my shock and disbelief, I fell pregnant with twins again. My miracles - Amina and Elijah.

 

With our strong family history of coeliac disease, it wasn't entirely unexpected - but still deeply overwhelming when Amina was diagnosed with coeliac disease at just three years old. Everything changed — celebrations became difficult, and the world suddenly felt small for her.

I turned our entire home into a 100% gluten-free kitchen. Every surface, every ingredient, every tool — all dedicated to keeping her safe. I refused to let her miss out on the memories I grew up with, baking alongside my nanna and mum.

What started as a way to protect my daughter has grown into a way to support families across the Illawarra — providing beautiful, boutique, small-batch gluten-free bakes that everyone can enjoy without worry.
